Listings on NearbyTherapy are built from the public NPI registry, and the people listed decide how they appear. Use the form on this page to claim, correct or remove a listing. We handle every confirmed request within 2 business days.
Claim a listing
If the listing is yours, claim it to add your specialties, insurance, fees and photo, and to receive patient inquiries. Claiming starts with an account and a license check. Claim your therapist profile
Correct a listing
If a detail is wrong, tell us which one. Registry fields such as name, credential, practice address and phone come from your NPPES record, so we also suggest updating it there, otherwise the next monthly refresh may bring the old value back.
Remove a listing
If you do not want to appear on NearbyTherapy, ask for removal. The listing is hidden once your email is confirmed and the NPI matches the listing, and it stays hidden after future registry refreshes.
How a request is handled
- Enter the NPI of the listing, choose the request type and add your email.
- We send a six-digit code to confirm your email.
- After confirmation, we handle the request within 2 business days and email you when it is done.
